For more than 35 years, Charron’s Auto Repair has provided best-in-class auto care services for the people of Lincoln and surrounding communities. Charron’s Auto Repair is renowned for its exemplary service by world-class technicians.
We are a six-bay auto repair shop with four lifts and ASE-certified technicians who are trained to the highest industry standards. In addition to superior quality service and repairs, our customers benefit from our association with Napa Auto Care. Napa Auto Care is an organization of accredited shops that have met strict industry qualifications and possess expertise in the automotive field.
At Charron’s Auto Repair, we also give back to our local community. We sponsor local events in our community that include the Lincoln Christmas Parade, Lincoln Balloon Fest, Relay for Life, Spring YMCA youth soccer program, Community Halloween Fun Night, women’s summer softball teams, and other similar events and organizations. We also participate in used oil and battery pick-up programs.
Rick Charron lives in Lincoln, IL with his wife, Carol. Rick was introduced into the automotive industry by his dad, Arnie, who was a professional mechanic. Rick studiously watched his dad immerse himself in automotive projects. He was influenced by his dad to also become involved with automotive mechanics.
Rick has been with Charron’s Auto Repair for 35 years. He bought the Charron business from his father in 1985. He is ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certified and he attends NAPA classes four times a year. When Rick isn’t at the shop, he and his wife, Carol, travel to Florida. In his free time, Rick also races modified cars with his son, and he attends car shows. Rick and Carol are also kept happily busy being with their 11 grandchildren.
Carol Charron is the co-owner of Charron’s Auto Repair and also serves as the Office Manager. She lives with her husband, Rick, as they have been married for 38 years. She is also the mother of three children and has 11 grandchildren.
When she is not at Charron’s Auto Repair, Carol works part time as a floral designer at a local flower shop. In her free time, she also enjoys doing crafts, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
